Introducing Seafoam

Personality: Seafoam is a sweet, curious little filly who seems very interested in some of the things on shore, as well as on the seafloor. She is very expressive, it's easy to tell how she feels by the movement of her ears and eyes, as well as the gestures she may use when speaking. She can be rather hesitant when meeting new people, but she can quickly warm up to someone, especially if they have lots of stories to tell or gives her something she finds neat or tasty. She is mostly curious about overland ponies, particularly ones that can fly. She is very kind to friends, but drops them immediately if they do something to betray her trust or hurt her in some way. She very rarely gives second chances.

Likes: Most foods, fish (mainly jellyfish), watching balloons, exploring the ocean floor, adventuring, doing tricks, the thought of flying.

Dislikes: Food that is too sweet, fishermen, the feeling of being helpless, the thought of falling from great heights, balloons popping, ponies that treat her like a baby all the time.

Biography: Seafoam has lived in the ocean her entire life, never actually adventuring out on the shore. She does come close to it from time to time, but most of the time she would rather watch as ponies went about their lives on the shore. She doesn't understand a lot of the things on the shore, but she has always been curious about them. She knows she can go on the shore if she really wanted, but she's a little intimidated by the idea of getting lost and never finding her way back home.

She passes the time by collecting rare seashells and exploring the seafloor, as well as improving her swimming skills by doing tricks such as flipping around in the water, maneuvering obstacles quickly, and breaching the water and trying to get as high as she can before diving into the water again. She also collects little trinkets she finds that overland ponies have dropped on accident, using them to decorate the little cave she sleeps in. She loves her cave, having just enough room for a bed of kelp her size. It's fairly hidden, and surrounded by both fauna and flora of the seafloor.

She developed her fascination for balloons and flying when she was watching the skies, resting after a long session of tricks and exploring. That's when she spotted the large group of colorful balloons floating lazily through the sky, swirling on the warm breeze. They fascinated the young filly, never having seen a balloon in her life until then. She didn't really know what they are, and she's still not quite certain, thinking them to be some strange animal that could fly like birds without any wings. She focused on them, finding an ever larger one floating in the air after them. This one, however, had a basket attached, and ponies riding in it! She wondered what the ponies were doing with the strange balloon creature, when one of the ponies jumped out, falling towards the sea below. She panicked, thinking the pony was in trouble before the pony spread their wings, taking off into the sky after the balloons. She was amazed, watching the pony as they gathered up all the balloons by their strings, or"tails" according to Seafoam, and flying back to the other ponies. Ever since that amazing feat, she marvels at the balloons that she would see in the sky, and the ponies that can fly through the air as though it were water.

Seafoam is aware or her lack of cutiemark, despite her being of age to get one, but she doesn't feel the need to rush it. Instead, she does as she wishes, not really minding that her flank is blank. She knows that if she tried to force herself to gain a cutiemark, that all it will really do is tire her out. She does try to experiment and try new things, but only for her sake, not for the sake of gaining her cutie mark.
